Simple people write simple things. The thing is, I am not a simple man. I have an interesting mind, a very analytical mind. And what I say tends to be interesting. And also very true. That’s all that I can do about it. I can’t lie. I can’t serve a cause. I’ve never served a cause. A cause always corrupts.
I’ll tell you the way I try to write. If you look at anything very honestly, without prejudices – prejudices either of hope or political point of view – many things are contained in what you observed. But you can only say I saw what I saw – and try to look at that.
